About African Community UMC

Gye Nyame United Methodist Church was founded in August 23, 1997 by Rev, Kwadwo Ntim. In September of 1999, the nanme of the chuech was changed to African Community United Methodist Church, a place where all African immigrants call " a home away from home" . 


African Community,  as a faith community,  welcome people of all races and ethnicities


Mission: Is to create a sense of community  of God's Children. We hope that an increased sense of community will lead to more personal involvement and more cultural, educational and social activities, which will create a better community and a better place for us to live.


We invite you to join us in worship on sundays from  from 1:30pm to 3:30pm. We invite you to... and on wednesdays and thursdays for bible study from ....... We hold prayer vigils from ....on very last friday of the month.The church is made up of mosthly African immigrants but all children of God are welcome
