About African Community UMC

African Community UMC is a United Methodist Church. It was founded in August 23, 1997 by Rev, Kwando Ntim as Gye Name United Methodist Church. In September of 1999, the name of the church was changed to African Community United Methodist Church, a place where we calll " a home away from home”.

African Community UMC, is a faith community that welcome people of all races and ethnicities.

 

Mission: Is to create a sense of community of God's Children. We hope that an increased sense of community will lead to more personal involvement and more cultural, educational and social activities, which will create a better community and a better place for us to live.

We invite you to join us in worship on Sundays from 1:30pm to 3:30pm, Bible study on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 7pm to 9pm and to prayer vigils from 7pm to 10pm on very last Friday of the month.
