We welcome you to African Community United Methodist Church, a place we call "Home away from Home" and a sanctuary for immigrants from Africa. The Church is where we continue to be who we are as Africans both spiritually and socially.

We continue with style of worship from Africa, where we use musical instruments, singing, clapping and dancing to praise the Lord. Our Prayers are extemporaneous relevant to individuals needs. We pray and fast as we develop ourselves spiritually.

Church can happen anywhere.  It happens when we create learning opportunities that transform lives. It happens when we create safe environments where children can play and learn. It happens when education makes the path to citizenship a little easier. And when our sacrifices help nourish students’ minds and bodies. That’s putting beliefs into action.
